GODSENT are close to adding Alan “adr” Riveros to their ranks as an analyst, Rush B Media has learned. Directly contacted by the publication, GODSENT confirmed the story.

The Swedish organization originally brought in their Brazilian roster at the beginning of 2021 following widespread rumors and much teasing. Headed up by two-time Major winner, Epitácio “TACO” de Melo, and João “felps” Vasconcellos, they team began with a bootcamp in Belgrade.

Initially the roster did not see much international success while on their bootcamp, placing outside of the top 4 in three consecutive Relog Media online cups. But since returning to North America in May, they have placed top 2 in four Mythic/ESEA Cash Cups — outright winning three of them. Unfortunately, most recently they were unable to secure another trip to Europe for the BLAST Fall Showdown, losing to Extra Salt in the Fragadelphia Invitational on Wednesday.

Riveros previously worked with Imperial as their coach for around a year before moving to an analyst role in January. During his tenure on the team’s support staff, he saw them claim two CBCS trophies and a regional DreamHack Open win in March versus the Sharks.

GODSENT will be competing in the closed qualifier for IEM Fall — the final RMR before the PGL Stockholm Major — starting on Saturday versus Strife Esports at 20:15 EDT. The team has also received an invite to DreamHack Open September which will take place from 22nd to 26th September.

GODSENT following this move will be:

  • Epitácio “TACO” de Melo
  • João “felps” Vasconcellos
  • Bruno “latto” Rebelatto
  • Bruno “b4rtiN” Câmara
  • Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer

  • Olavo “cky” Napoleão (Coach)
  • Alan “adr” Riveros (Analyst)
  • Ricardo “dead” Sinigaglia (Manager)
