Liquid Acquire oSee from Extra Salt

The North American-based organization confirmed the signing of Extra Salt’s star AWPer Josh ‘oSee’ Ohm today, three weeks after the initial report by 1pv.fr. The addition of oSee marks the first time in nearly three years that Liquid has a pure, non-leading AWPer on their starting lineup, dating back to their days with Josh ‘jdm64’ Marzano.

The transition for oSee comes off the back of a great year with Extra Salt. Liquid’s newest talent nearly doubled the number of maps played from last year, while also exponentially improving in every major statistical category including kills per round, deaths per round, damage per round, impact, and overall HLTV rating. The improved performance was a driving force for oSee and his team, helping them qualify for ESL Challenger Anaheim and ESL Pro League Season 15, as well as earn a second-place finish at Funspark ULTI 2020 earlier this year.

oSee is the first of three major signings, aside from the re-signing of Keith ‘NAF’ Markovic, that the rebuilding Liquid will have to undergo to field a full roster for next year. Although the final roster has not been finalized, it was also reported by 1pv.fr that the final two roster spots would go to returning in-game leader Nick ‘nitr0’ Cannella and French legend Richard ‘shox’ Papillon.

With the signing of oSee, Liquid’s 2022 roster currently consists of:

Jonathan ‘EliGE’ Jablonowski

Keith ‘NAF’ Markovic

Josh ‘oSee’ Ohm

Eric ‘adreN’ Hoag (Coach)
