Ninjas in Pyjamas are in discussions with Wasley “Jonn” Reis to head the Swedish organization’s Brazilian VALORANT roster, Rush B Media has learned. NIP announced the transition away from a European squad in the Riot’s tactical shooter in early November.

Jonn has been a crucial player for the Gamelanders roster alongside Leonardo “mwzera” Serrati, although, the organization are rebuilding their team with a lot of changes on their way to the roster. mwzera is currently on loan with Vivo Keyd while Guilherme “nyang” Coelho, Wasley “Jonn” Reis and Fernando “fzn” Cerqueira will also leave the team, according to The Clutch and confirmed by the organization today. The organization allowed the three players to field new offers. Gamelanders recently parted ways with Lucas “belky” Belchior alongside stand-ins Caio “CTC” Torres and Willian “wil” Bello.

Gabriel “qck” Lima, nyang, and Felipe “less” de Loyala are currently being evaluated to join NIP’s new roster alongside Jonn, sources close to the situation tell Rush B Media. NIP were also aiming Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro, Gustavo “sacy” Rossi, and Erick “aspas” Santos, although, according to ge and VZone, the trio is headed to MIBR’s new VALORANT division.

Although NIP are primarily known for their highly successful Swedish CS:GO squad, the organization has deep roots in the Brazilian esports scene through their Rainbow Six: Siege squad. The team recently claimed a second-place finish in the Six Sweden Major just behind FaZe Clan’s own Brazilian squad.

NIP’s European roster failed to qualify to VCT Masters in both Stages 2 and 3 resulting in them being unable to contend for a place at the recent Berlin Champions tournament, ultimately saying goodbye to them in November. The future of the European players is still undefined, however, Adam “ec1s” Eccles is reported to be in a trial period with 100 Thieves.

When reached out for comment by Rush B Media, Gamelanders declined to comment on the transfer market and NIP did not respond to our request.
