Sprout and KEi Part Ways

After two months with Sprout, Kamil ‘KEi’ Pietkun has left the German organization. The decision came after the player decided to pursue a career in the Polish scene.

During his two months in Berlin, KEi played a crucial role in turning the team’s performances around, helping them reach No. 20 on HLTV’s global rankings. The Polish player arrived before the start of the ESEA Premier Season 39 Europe and after a full month of losses for Sprout. Kamil rapidly became one of the team’s best performers and propelled Sprout to conquer the ESEA competition. KEi put up solid numbers during his tenure with the German org, finishing his period with the team with a 1.12 rating after 70 maps played.

KEi’s departure comes 20 hours after another loss for Sprout, as Josef ‘faveN’ Baumann left the team for another German team, BIG. Contrary to KEi, who only spent two months with the team, faveN stayed with Sprout for more than three years, becoming a household name for the organization and making this a huge loss for them.

Sprout’s lineup now consists of:

Timo ‘Spiidi’ Richter

Fritz ‘slaxz-‘ Dietrich

Rasmus ‘raalz’ Steensborg

Danny ‘BERRY’ Krüger (Coach)
