Sprout bring in BERRY as Head Coach

After a brief search, Sprout has found their new head coach in the form of veteran in-game leader Danny “BERRY” Krüger. Krüger brings a wealth of experience to the lineup, having professional matches under his belt as far back as 2007. With fourteen years of in-game experience, the Danish tactician will look to apply that out of the server and help his new team find greater heights.

BERRY’s addition to the team comes following the previous iterations’ 0-5 performance at the IEM Fall European RMR, which netted them a 21st-24th place finish and a missed opportunity to make the Major. With Krüger’s arrival to Sprout becoming official, his first task in his new role will be to find an effective fifth to help elevate the team.

In a request for comment, Krüger talked about his future saying “I’m happy to announce that I will be joining Sprout and start my journey as head coach.” He continued, “I’m thankful for the trust from the team and the organization, even though I’m fairly new to this field. It’s a very exciting moment for me, and I have been waiting for an opportunity to start coaching for some time. I feel like Sprout is the right place for me, I see a lot of potential in this team and I will be working very hard to get Sprout to where they belong.”

After signing BERRY, the Sprout lineup looks as such:

  • Timo ‘Spiidi’ Richter
  • Josef ‘faven’ Baumann
  • Fritz ‘slaxz-‘ Dietrich
  • Rasmus ‘raalz’ Steensborg
  • Danny ‘BERRY’ Krüger (Coach)
