After spending just over two weeks with an incomplete roster, Sprout cements its newest international iteration since fielding Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný and Paweł “dycha” Dycha with the acquisition of Polish rifler Kamil “KEi” Pietkun. KEi”s arrival comes after a six-month stint with Anonymo, where he led his team with a 1.10 rating over 174 maps. The 20-year old enjoyed nearly three years of garnering experience inside of his domestic Polish scene with Anonymo and AVEZ, and after his benching on July 1st, he was seen playing with Polish mix-teams Dolej Miodu and Exalted Industries in various online events. The young talent will now take the next steps into an international role for the first time in his career, playing with three Germans and a Dane.

The jump into an international lineup comes new for the young talent, but the transition should come smoothly, as long-time Sprout members Timo “Spiidi” Ritcher and Josef “faveN” Baumann have experience playing with numerous Danish and Polish players during their three years with Sprout. The addition of KEi comes just a day after the signing of long-time in-game leader turned head coach, Danny “BERRY” Krüger. KEi, along with the newly dubbed head coach, will look to elevate Sprout to new heights as they look once again to break into the top 30 HLTV rankings following their exit from the top 30 in June. Sprout is currently ranked No. 68 in the world.

With the signing of KEi, the Sprout lineup will be:

  • Timo “Spiidi” Richter
  • Josef “faven” Baumann
  • Fritz “slaxz-” Dietrich
  • Rasmus “raalz” Steensborg
  • Kamil “KEi” Pietkun
  • Danny “BERRY” Krüger (Coach)
  • Can “kyuubii” Kamber (On loan to No Limit Gaming)
