Triumph Gaming Look to bwills as moose Departs

Rush B Media has learned that Kaleb “moose” Jayne will be departing Triumph’s active lineup in order to pursue a career in Valorant immediately following the conclusion of IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 North America. Replacing moose will be Brendan “Bwills” Williams from New England Whalers, with Triumph already closing the deal to sign the youngster. New England Whalers have also recently announced that the players will be departing at the expiration of their contacts on December 6, 2020.
Over the past 3 months, moose has been one of Triumph’s top performers as he averaged an HLTV 2.0 Rating of 1.05, the second highest on the team. Triumph will be very disappointed to see him go as they have finally started to find their form after losing Michael “Grim” Wince to Liquid, who Triumph just bested to reach the finals of IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 North America. moose joins an already long list of names that have left the North American CS scene to compete in Valorant, joining the likes of Damien “daps” Steele and Sam “s0m” Oh, who made the switch just last month.
Filling the Canadian’s shoes will be Bwills from New England Whalers. Whalers just missed out on qualifying for ESL Pro League Season 13 this past week as they received a 3-0 beating by Team One in the ESEA MDL Season 35 North America Grand Finals. Since joining Whalers in September, Bwills has been a standout performer for the team averaging an HLTV 2.0 Rating of 1.16 over the past three months, including a solid 1.07 rating at IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 North America.

Rush B Media reached out to Triumph for a comment and they told us the following:
Two weeks prior to IEM Beijing, Moose came to us to discuss his desire to move to Valorant. He made it clear to us that he’d want to finish out this IEM event with us and move onto Valorant immediately afterwards. He noted his loss of passion for CS and we respect his decision. Having a heads up gave us a significant window of time to look for his replacement. We’ve come to an agreement for Bwills to join us from the Whalers after IEM concludes.

moose might not be the only member Triumph loses though as Furia are reportedly interested in signing Paytyn “Junior” Johnson as well. Read more about that here.
Triumph’s new roster will look like this:

  • Alan “Shakezullah” Hardeman
  • Erik “penny” Penny
  • Brendan “Bwills” Williams
  • Ryan “ryann” Welsh
  • Paytyn “Junior” Johnson
  • Marcos “tacitus” Castilho (coach)
